One room doing two jobs

Living and dining were treated as a single space. The flooring runs straight through, and the fireplace was re-clad so it reads as the anchor for both halves rather than belonging only to the seating side.

Keeping the light

The window wall was left alone and everything else was arranged around it. Rooms like this rarely need more glazing. They need the furniture plan and the floor to stop competing with what is already there.
